Does anyone know where I can find a plumbing NVQ tutor in Scotland?

Any suggestions would be really helpful.

 The only advise I would give you John is to go on the C-skills web and you can see a list of centres near you,click on the one nearest or search by qualification,once found give them a call.For your information the centre does not have to be in Scotland as SVQ s are also Assessed by other centres throughout UK who will travel to your place of work,I myself travel all over the country to Assess Carpenters,Shopfitters,Plasterers and Site Supervisors.All Assessors are occupational experts in there trade.Hope this helps you,although that said there is a national shortage of plumbing Assessors (Basically they have to be plumbers to start qualifying as Assessors,they all earn a fortune so cannot be tempted away from their careers!)for a 35k salary as Assessor.This said I wish you all the best in getting what you need.
